A man who police say severely beat a Moultrie woman last April is back in jail in south Georgia after he was arrested in Florida.
Moultrie Police tell us Iva Lee Worthy, Junior is in the Colquitt County Jail. He's accused of beating Linda Sue Kreigbaum so badly, she had to placed in a medically induced coma.
Worthy was arrested last month in Port St. Lucie, Florida on drug charges. He's charged with aggravated battery and also faces additional charges in Mitchell County.
Kreigbaum has since recovered.
Angel Thacker Freundschuh, 37, of Lee County, was sentenced to 12 months and a day in prison for perjury by U. S. District Court Judge Leslie J. Abrams in Albany, Wednesday.
