ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A child death investigation is underway in Albany after a six month old boy was found dead Sunday morning at an East Albany home.

The child's name is Ja'Kobian Emmanuel Davis.  Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler said the boy's body was found inside a home in the 200 block of Marie Avenue Sunday morning around 10 a.m.

Officials say the child was in the care of a baby sitter, while his parents were out of town.

An autopsy was performed on the child Tuesday morning at a GBI Crime Lab in Macon. Investigators are reviewing that report.

No criminal charges have been filed in the child's death.
