ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police Investigators are gathering clues from a 'hole in the wall' burglary at the Brothers Package Store at 1101 Newton Road.

They didn't break through a concrete wall, as other crooks have done, but broke through an AC duct system after they got through a chain link fence.

They apparently pulled the electrical box from the building.

They stole a small amount of cash that was in the store, and some liquor. They broke several bottles of liquor inside the store.

Police say that video surveillance will be limited, since there was no electricity in the store when the electrical box was pulled off. They do note that there was a city surveillance camera on that store's corner.

The store owners say it will cost more than $1,000 to repair all the damage.
