Travis Pratt wows judges, proposes on America's Got Talent

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An opera sensation from south Georgia has a lot of people rooting for him. Travis Pratt wowed the judges Tuesday night on America's Got Talent.

One of his former voice coaches from Albany State, Dr. Deanna Weber, was excited to see him perform. She says Pratt loves gospel and classical music and is an accomplished piano player.

Pratt proposed to his girlfriend on stage Tuesday night during the show.

"I thought he did great," says Weber. "I thought he did great. Not only did he sing well, but he was charming. The audience loved him and the proposal just swept everybody off their feet. So I think he did a wonderful job."

His girlfriend did say yes when he popped the question.

The judges moved him on to the next round. He will appear on the show again next month.
