A Turner County man involved in two-hour standoff with deputies has not bonded out yet and remains behind bars as of Tuesday morning.

46-year-old Ricky Nelson has been charged with aggravated assault upon peace officer and simple battery (family violence).  Both are felony counts.  His bond is $24,000 for aggravated assault and $1,000 for simple battery.

Turner County Sheriff Andy Hester says deputies were called to Nelson's home on Coverdale Highway after he had a dispute with a juvenile, who left the home and called deputies.

Hester says when deputies arrived Nelson came out into the yard and fired his shotgun.

A SWAT team came in and Nelson was tased and arrested.  No one was injured.
