They won't be tag team wrestling, but a pair of Tift County Blue Devil grapplers will be attending the same school on wrestling scholarships.
Beau Bergeron and teammate Malcom Robinson will both be attending Pratt Junior College in Pratt, Kansas after signing letters of intent Thursday.
Bergeron took third place at the 2013 Six A State Wrestling Championships in the 220 pound weight class, while Robinson won the 1-AAAAA Region Title.
The two say they've been best friends since kindergarten, and that makes signing together even more special.
"Going into our junior year, we talked about going to school together," Bergeron says. "We didn't think it was going to happen, but when we got a chance to make it happen, we just went with it."
"We just have to go together. We'll do whatever we're going to do, and we'll do it together," Robinson remembers telling Bergeron. "We're going to stick together, and as far as college goes, we're together from end to end."
Both wrestlers say the relationships they developed with Pratt's coaches helped in their decision.
