ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Four years ago one Albany Georgia student graduated from Westover High School as Salutatorian, and he did it again, this time as a Morehouse graduate student.

Ernest Nelson recently walked with the rest of his Morehouse classmates who had President Obama as their commencement speaker.

Ernest Nelson appreciates the recognition he received from his school as well as appreciates the fact that he was recognized for his scholastic achievement in front of President Obama.

"Actually being recognized by the school to me it meant so much more this year because we're on an international stage. President Obama was there, to be recognized for my accomplishments in front of Obama that was great in itself," said Ernest Nelson, Morehouse Salutatorian.

Ernest was recently accepted to the Medical College of Georgia where he plans to become a Pediatric Neurosurgeon.
