ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

It is officially summer break for kids in Lee County, but before many will be able to play sports, a physical is required.

Hundreds of kids with the Lee County school system celebrated their last day of school Wednesday with free sports physicals.

Doctors with Premier Orthopedics administered free physicals to 400 children in the Lee County school system.

Orthopedic surgeon Tracy McGee notes, "One of the things I've seen in the last number of years is the number of kids with high blood pressure, and that's something you would not know otherwise."
