DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA -

Paramedics tell us they're amazed no one was seriously hurt in a rush hour crash just outside Albany Monday evening.

The driver of a pickup truck lost control on Philema Road just before 5:00. The truck skidded through a ditch, hit a culvert, and went airborne.

It slammed into a tree and a brick sign at the entrance to River Pointe sub-division. A limb even fell onto the truck.

The cab was crushed, but neither the driver nor the passenger was seriously hurt. Dougherty County Police charged the driver with failure to maintain lane.
