Reward offered for Dollar General robbers

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Investigators in Thomasville need your help to identify two masked armed robbers.

Police say surveillance video shows two black men with bandanas on their faces walking into the Dollar General on Jackson Street Friday night.

One of the men pointed a rifle at the clerk and demanded cash.

Police say the clerk couldn't get the register open and the masked men ran from the store.

"We will not divulge your names or any information you give us, but we need to get the help of the public to help us locate this person. And there is a reward that is given for the arrests of these people," said Police Chief Ellis Jackson.

Police say there were about 15 customers in the store while it was being robbed.

No one was hurt.

If you recognize either of these men, call Thomasville CrimeStoppers at 229-227-3305.
