Mother makes plea for missing daughter

ADEL, GA (WALB) -

The Tift County Sheriff's investigators are still searching for clues to find a missing pregnant woman. Her mother is making a plea to find her daughter who hasn't been seen in more than two months.

Diane Wiler, looks at a picture of her daughter Crystal Hendrix, who investigators say has been missing since March 8th.

When Diane, who lives in Adel, heard Crystal was missing, she went to the Tift Co. Sheriff's Office to file a missing person's report. She knows the process of locating her daughter will be long, but she feels time is running out.

"The trail has gone cold. If there was evidence, there isn't any now and I'm at a loss. I can't imagine her going off and leaving her babies like that," said Diane Wiler.

Deputies say 27-year-old Crystal was last seen at her Tifton home in March. She was 8 months pregnant and has two other young children at home.

Diane believes if she had more contact with Crystal in the past it could have prevented her disappearance.

Diane and Crystal haven't spoken to one another for almost three years because of personal reasons.

"We've gone our separate ways, but that doesn't mean my child don't mean the world to me. It doesn't mean that I don't love her, need her in my life and I love my grandbabies," said Diane Wiler.

Diane says she doesn't know anyone that would want to hurt Crystal. She has many questions and no answers about her whereabouts.

"If anybody knows or seen her, to please contact me, the police, friends. I want my daughter found. I need her found," said Diane Wiler.

She believes investigators are doing everything they can to find Crystal. The Sheriff's Office has conducted interviews but they do not have any leads on what happened to her.
