 Twenty-eight students from Lowndes High received Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) pins at a ceremony held at the school last week.

The students received dual enrollment instruction and credit through a partnership between Lowndes High and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. Students who were pinned include Halie Brown, Savannah Byrd, Julie Evans, Logan Holtzclaw, Ty'Shian Innocent, Miranda Mizaur, Malaysia Mitchell, Josue Nunez, Taylor Peacock, Savannah Srygley, Miracle Stephenson, Charlene Suggs, Lourdes Torres, Briana Williams, Garrianna Brown, Tiffany Butenschon, Kamil Cook, Ashley Hernandez, Allison Hiers, Leshanti Hodges, JaNeisia Holmes, Maria Loza, Rachael O'Connor, Tristan Peterman, Katie Price, Jessica Schara, Jaime Sumner, and Caleb Voigt. 

Parents were also present for the ceremony and participated in the pinning ceremony. The Wiregrass Georgia Technical College CNA Instructor is Stacey Brinkley.
