VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

The Valdosta Police Department is putting up a $2,500 reward to help catch the killer of a beauty store employee.

The Police Chief says they are working several leads in the Friday night shooting death of 62-year-old Kanwaljit Spai, but they haven't made any arrests.

Investigators say one or two people robbed Spai as he closed up Ashley Beauty Store.

We now know police found video poker machines in the back of the store.

They're working to find out if the store was using the machines illegally by paying players cash instead of store credit.

"We are willing to hand out $2,500 right now to anybody that provides us with the information that leads to the arrest in this case. We're looking for a name," said Chief Brian Childress.

If you have any information on this murder, Valdosta Police ask you to call the lead investigator at 229-293-3111.
