Three arrested for pills, burglary in Crisp Co.

CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Two Cordele men and one woman were arrested and charged Friday night for stealing prescription pills and other items from homes in Cordele.

Crisp County Deputies responded to a burglary Thursday at a home on Hill Road around 5:00 pm. Then Friday deputies were called to Highway 41 to check out a car break-in around 4:45 pm.

While there, another deputy was called to a second burglary on Twin Pines Road around 5:00 pm when a deputy heard one of the suspects name called over the radio from the theft to connect the two incidents.

40-year-old Keith Satterfield, 41-year- old Pamela Gale Satterfield and 65-year-old Harris Satterfield were all then arrested on scene in connection to all three incidents.

Deputies say there was about a 45 minute window from entering auto call to the burglary and had the suspects arrested between 6:00 and 6:30 that night. They say that Vester Cox, 69, is the victim of the prescription pill theft. A gun and jewelry were also taken.

Keith and Pamela Satterfield both face charges for theft by entering auto. Pamela Satterfield also faces charges for having prescriptions not in their original container, DUI, entering auto and obstruction for spitting on an officer.

Harris Satterfield is charged with prescription drugs not in their container. Officials say drug agents will identify the pills stolen later today. They say the suspects are currently being interviewed and burglary warrants are expected to be secured today. Charges are pending for controlled substance.
