Albany man accidentally shoots brother

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

One brother is facing charges while another is recovering from a gunshot wound after an accidental shooting.

19 year-old Efrin Morris told police he was playing with a gun around 3:30pm Saturday in the 900 block of West Lincoln when it went off.  It struck his brother, 18 year-old Erick Morris in the buttock. Erick was taken to Phoebe Putney for treatment.

Efrin was taken to the Dougherty County Jail.  He is charged with aggravated assault, interference with government property and possession of a knife or firearm during the commission of a crime.
