SUMNER, GA -

South Georgians with disabilities got to cut a rug tonight. The Sumner Egg Festival hosted a dance tonight just for people with special needs.

The theme was "The Beach" and admission was free. Organizers say the turnout was great, and they hope to make this an annual event.

"People wanting to donate money sponsor people for the dance and the general public can see from our crowd this has been a good success already," said Jane Long.

There will be a beauty review Saturday at 4 p.m. and anyone can compete. Makeup artists will help make sure participants look their best and professional photographers will take pictures.
