The Albany Humane Society is getting a makeover thanks to some help from a national humanitarian group and national dog food company.
In an effort to prevent teen pregnancy, the Albany Boys and Girls Club gave boys a crash course in abstinence and safe sex.
30 members graduated from the Personal Responsibility Education Program, Thursday night.
The club got a grant to educate young men on how to prevent teen pregnancies and Sexually Transmitted Infections.
One graduate told us the program taught him important life lessons.
"It's important so I can know early, so I won't make mistakes and be put into situations that we've learned about from other people," said graduate Jalen Johnson
Georgia has one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in the country.
Teen pregnancies cost Georgia taxpayers $465-million a year.
