Coffee County detectives are investigating the death of a teenager who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Deputies say 17-year-old Thomas Walden was found on the doorstep behind his home on Ford Lane in Nicholls around 5:45PM Tuesday.
Authorities have not determined whether he committed suicide or if the gun accidentally discharged.
Walden suffered a gunshot would to the upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled Thursday.
