DONALSONVILLE, GA (WALB) -

49-year old Neotha Fedd is in the Seminole County Jail charged with aggravated assault, battery on a school teacher, obstruction, disrupting public school, giving a false identity to a police officer, and 3rd degree cruelty to children.

Donalsonville Police investigators say around 7:35 this morning 59-year-old Louise Royal was monitoring the 1st grade hall at Seminole County Elementary when she noticed Fedd standing near the bathroom.

Royal told Fedd all visitors need to check in at the office, when police and Royal tell us Fedd snapped.

Fedd is accused of pushing Royal to the ground, kicking her repeatedly, and beating her with a janitor's broom.

Royal says as soon as other teachers saw what was going on they stepped in and subdued Fedd.

Donalsonville Police and EMS responded. Royal was transported to the Donalsonville ER and was released this afternoon. This was before school started so no students were in the area.

Royal says Fedd has a child currently in 1st grade at the school.
