DONALSONVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Information from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation-

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, along with Seminole County Sheriff's Office, is investigating the deaths of two Florida men who were found dead near Donalsonville.

On Sunday, May 5, 2013, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested to assist the Seminole County Sheriff's Office in the death of two individuals that were found at 5503 River Road, in Seminole County.

The Sheriff's Office had received an emergency 911 call from the residence at approximately 7:00 PM, requesting assistance, and when deputies arrived they found the bodies of Johnny Nathey and Duane Derr inside the residence.

Nathey is 58 years of age from Quincy, Florida. Derr is 34 years of age from Sneads, Florida.

Both men had multiple gunshot wounds and have been transported for autopsy to the GBI Crime Lab.

There appears to have been some type of altercation at the residence but the other individual's name involved in the altercation will not be released at this time.

The investigation into this matter by the GBI's Regional Office in Thomasville continues.
