Names released in Cook County homicide

COOK CO., GA (WALB) -

GBI agents say 33 year-old Francis Hall and 15 month-old Jersi Hall were killed in their Sparks home on Barneyville Road Friday afternoon.

A vehicle from the home was found near I-75 near Cook County yesterday. Agents say during the course of their investigation they arrested 31 year-old Ashley Routland, from Lenox, Georgia, who is charged with one count of theft by taking motor vehicle.

But agents say they're still looking for a suspect and the investigation is ongoing.

Friday:

WALB has confirmed that two people are dead in what law enforcement in Cook County is calling a homicide.

We do know two people were killed at a Sparks home on Barneyville Road early this afternoon.

Investigators believe the killer stole a vehicle at the home. It was found near I-75 in Cook County late Friday afternoon.

The GBI is handling the case, but agents won't tell us any details of the crime or whether they are questioning any suspects.
