ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Graduates got their diplomas Friday night at Darton State College.

338 students earned degrees. 206 of them took part in the ceremony and walked across the stage.

Proud graduate Amy Moore is already in the working world and may continue her education later. "It's taken me a little longer than normal to get a two-year degree. I'm married and I have three kids, so I've been kind of working around them, but they're all here tonight with my parents, and we're very excited and very proud," she said.

William Fuller told us he's about to head to the University of Georgia, and he plans to become a pharmacist. He said, "Two years of hard work right here. I had a great time at Darton, but I'm ready to move on to the next chapter of my life."

Former Albany Mayor Tommy Coleman was the commencement speaker.
