A woman and son were injured after their car overturned into an embankment off Liberty Expressway this morning.
Albany Police, the Albany Fire department and EMS responded to the wreck after police say the woman just lost control of the car sending her into a wooded area off the road.
There appears to be no serious injury at this time, only cuts and bruises.
The mom and son were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital to be checked for further injury.
One lane of southbound traffic was closed.
