Counterfeit money seized during assault investigation

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A wild chase in Albany Tuesday results in charges against five people.

Police say 37 year-old Aunterrio Robinson pointed a gun at 18 year-old Robert Hall and threatened him at a Flash Foods store in northwest Albany. Hall then chased Robinson into east Albany where officers arrested Robinson at 1st and Swift Avenues. He was booked in the jail Tuesday night for aggravated assault.

21 year-old Jamal Lane was in the car with Hall. He ran when officers showed up, but police caught him with nearly $1900 dollars worth of counterfeit 20-dollar bills and two stolen guns.

He's charged with 94 counts of forgery and two counts of theft by receiving.

Hall, his father, and another person were also charged with disorderly conduct.
