ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police are looking for four men after shots are fired in Southwest Albany.

Police say 17 year-old John Green and 18 year-old Justin Ball were standing in the street around 4:45 pm Saturday at the intersection of Poplar Street and West Gordon Avenue when they were approached by four men who were inside a gray Hyundai Sonata.

Officials say an altercation between the suspects and the victims took place and at some point, one suspect pulled out a gun and began firing shots, then fled the scene.

No injuries were reported.  Police found the car they believe was involved in the incident on University Street near West Town Elementary.  Police are still searching for the gunman.

The gang unit is assisting the robbery-homicide unit and the uniform bureau with the investigation.
