TIFT CO., GA (WALB) -

The Tift County coroner Josh Hendrix says Christopher Raphael Sears, also called Ezzy E Sears, was killed in a shooting on Friday.  Hendrix says he was pronounced dead at the scene.  An autopsy is expected to be completed early this week.

Deputies of the Tift County Sheriff's Office spent most of Friday afternoon investigating the shooting on 3rd Avenue and Short Street.

Officials say Sears was shot and killed as he was stopped in his Ford truck.  A woman in the passenger seat was wounded, but she managed to jump out of the truck and run from the two men who walked up to the truck with pistols, and started shooting.

The woman got help from EMS, and was taken to a hospital.
