Albany chase suspect turns himself in

A man who led drug agents on a high speed chase through Albany earlier this week has turned himself in.

Maceo Kenya Hayes turned himself in to police Friday night and faces a slew of charges.

Police say when agents tried to execute a search warrant at 311 West Roosevelt Alley, Hayes jumped into a car and took off.  Dashcam video shows agents chasing him through downtown Albany.  Agents called off the chase because he was running red lights and creating a danger to the public.

Hayes is charged with driving while having a suspended license, speeding, three violations of signs and markers, reckless driving, fleeing, attempt to elude and 7 stop sign violations.
