The driver of a black Dodge pickup truck that went over a guard rail and down a steep embankment on the Liberty Bypass climbed out of the wrecked hulk and walked up the hill to meet EMS.
He was involved in a collision with a BMW convertible driven by a female driver near the Jefferson Street Exit. She appeared to have only very slight injuries.
The west bound lanes were blocked for a few minutes while wrecker trucks hauled the vehicles away, and then traffic began flowing again.
Both drivers have been examined by EMS.
