THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

More charges against a South Georgia man accused of rape.

46-year old Mark Flynn of Cairo is now accused of raping at least five women in Thomasville, Pelham, and Cairo between August and October of last year.

Investigators say Flynn drove around in a red truck, told women he was a police officer, and told them they needed to go with him.

"When he would pick them up, he would then force them into sexual acts. He had a small caliber gun in the car and zip ties that you can fasten together to make makeshift handcuffs," said Detective Louis Schofill.

Flynn was arrested in October. He remains in the Grady County Jail charged with rape, child molestation, impersonating a police officer, and kidnapping.
