LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

Officials from multiple agencies responded to a meth bust in Lee County Thursday night.

Tips led investigators to a house on Ackers Circle where they found an active meth lab in a building next to the home.

A special meth lab response team came in to clean up the dangerous chemicals safely. Sheriff Reggie Rachals said, "These types of things are dangerous and can cause extensive damage if they are setup right and something goes wrong."

Investigators arrested 36 year-old Dewayne Dukes. He faces several charges including manufacturing meth and violating his probation.
