Head Due South for art, music, and food

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

You can see a Grammy Award winning band while supporting a good cause this weekend.

Due South is a three-day art, food, and music festival in Thomasville.

Recent Grammy winning Bluegrass band Steep Canyon Rangers will headline the festival.

All proceeds benefit programs at the Thomasville Center for the Arts.

"This started out as four friends who really wanted live music to come to Thomasville, Georgia. And we teamed up with the Thomasville Center for the Arts and decided to turn it into a fundraiser that benefits the programs of Thomasville Center for the Arts," said Event Chair Haile McCollum.

The festival begins Friday night at Building 209 on Remington Avenue in Thomasville.
