Teen shot in South Albany

Albany police officers are responding to a report of a shooting in the vicinity of Cedar Avenue and South Harding Street.

APD says that Kemond White, 17, said he was walking in the alley when he was struck by a bullet in the leg.

The Albany Police Department Uniform Bureau, Robbery/Homicide Detectives and the Albany Gang Unit (assisting with canvassing the area) are all on the scene.

No further injuries have been reported. No suspects in custody at this time.

Further updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
