A U.S. Marine transport helicopter with 21 people on board has crashed in South Korea near the border with the North.
Officials are describing the accident as a hard landing saying six people were being treated at a local hospital and are in stable condition. The helicopter reportedly caught fires after all on board were able to get out.
The cause of the accident is now under investigation the crew is from the 31St Marine Unit and is stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
They were taking part in annual military exercises with South Korean troops.
