ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Museum of Art hosted their 28th annual Let's Make a Bid fundraiser Sunday.

More than 300 items were auctioned off on-air and online. The auction was a live event that aired on WALB from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Phones were ringing off the hook with people ready to make their bids on various items.

The museum did something different this year by having exclusive items auctioned online, like a signed Luke Bryan guitar. All the money will help benefit the museum.

"We think it's important that everyone be able to come to the museum free of charge and that's why we're able to do that because of the funds we raise through this event," said Karen Kemp.

WALB's Ben Roberts and Karla Heath-Sands were there as announcers. The Albany Museum of Art will celebrate their 30th anniversary this year.
