TURNER CO., GA (WALB) -

A South Georgia high school is bringing the community together with their senior prom.

Turner County High School held their third integrated prom Saturday. The theme was Midnight in Paris.

Principal Tim Huff says the integrated proms have brought the school community together and they've had lots of parental support. Before these integrated proms, which are school sponsored, students sponsored their own separate proms.

"We want our community to see our students. We meshed two traditions when we bought the private proms together and do a school prom. We decided to spotlight out kids so the entire community can come out and see them," said Principal Tim Huff.

About 165 tickets were sold to the prom. The prom started at 8:30p.m and was held at the Peach Barn in Tifton.
