ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Folks enjoyed good wine and good music, Friday night, to support an organization dedicated to improving the lives of young ladies.

Girls, Inc. held their wine market and auction at Stonebridge Country Club.

Organizers say the money raised tonight supports their mission to help girls in South Georgia succeed.

"This is so important because Girls, Inc. As a nonprofit organization we depend on fundraisings events like this to help us continue to provide services that we do to the community," said Girls, Inc. Executive Director Sherrell Alexander

Girls, Inc. next fundraiser will be their Bag Lady Luncheon next month where women can buy designer hand bags.
