ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A basketball street crew known for their flashy moves and highlight dunks made their way to Albany, Friday.

The And 1 team showed off some of their skills at the HYPER Gym on the campus of Albany State University.

They took on the Albany all-stars.

The crowd also enjoyed performances from the Cheer Up Cheerleaders and a fan got a chance to win a thousand-dollar gift card from John Ross Jewelers for a half court shot.

Last time And 1 was in Albany, they lost to the local competition.

"Albany is very well known for being a region that has good ball players, so we wanted to bring And 1 back. They wanted revenge quite honestly," said promoter Todd Burnett.

The And 1 team also works to encourage kids to strive for academic excellence.
