The bus driver, Samuel Jordan, was taken to Phoebe North ER, but was not seriously injured.

Harter said the third vehicle involved in the accident contained the mother and two students who were also taken to Phoebe and later released.

He said that APD charged the semi truck driver.

Harter said that the school system is thankful that injuries were no more serious than they are.

APD says that the people in the car were Twana Daniels 29,  Aamya Daniels 7, and Jack Daniels 9.  The car was involved when the semi rolled over, hitting it. Reginald Williams was driving the truck, and police say was following the bus too closely. When the bus slowed to turn, the truck swerved.
