UPDATE: Teen seriously injured in crash

OCILLA, GA (WALB) -

We now know the name of the 16 year-old Irwin County teen involved in a Friday crash.

Ivy John Istre, III is in critical condition at a Macon hospital. Troopers say he was driving a GMC pickup truck south on Cleveland Road, ran a stop sign and hit 25 year-old Derek Davis of Fitzgerald, who was driving a 2004 Cadillac west on Highway 107.

Davis suffered non-life threatening injuries. Istre was air lifted to a Macon hospital. The crash remains under investigation.

A 16 year-old is in critical condition after a two vehicle wreck in Irwin County.

Georgia State Patrol officials say it happened around 7:30pm Friday in Ocilla.

Troopers say a 16 year-old was driving a GMC pickup truck south on Cleveland Road, ran a stop sign and hit 25 year-old Derek Davis of Fitzgerald, who was driving a 2004 Cadillac west on Highway 107.

Davis suffered non-life threatening injuries. The 16 year-old was air lifted to a Macon hospital and is in critical condition.  We are waiting on GSP to release his name.  The crash remains under investigation.
