Five people arrested in Moultrie cocaine bust

MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

Five people are in jail after Colquitt County Drug agents stopped a drug deal.

They arrested Ricky Alford, Senior, Derrick Alford, Temeka Lewis, Jennifer Mccollough and Carneata Clark Thursday after getting a tip that Ricky Alford would be delivering drugs to the Town Terrace Motel in Moultrie.

When they tried to pull him over, they say he hit an agent's vehicle, drove off and through cocaine out of his Chevy Suburban.

Officers stopped the SUV about 5-blocks away.

All five suspects are charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
