ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Sherwood Baptist Church will break ground Sunday night for a major multi-million project designed to expand the church's ministry in southwest Georgia and around the world.

The project is titled Vision 2020: Meet the Need.

The church has college just over $1.7 million dollar and with a dollar for dollar match from Sherwood Pictures the entire amount is $3.41 million.

The first phase will be the construction of space for youth and children.

The second phase will add adult classroom space, Fellowship Hall, Bookstore/Coffee Shop and indoor playground.

The Vision 2020 project will also include the Sherwood Christian Academy campus, the old Coca-Cola building downtown and projects in the United States and around the world.
