THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

A big mess at a Thomasville pharmacy is nearly cleaned up after a woman suspected of drinking and driving crashed into it.

Police say Barbara Johnson was attempting to park her 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix outside of Jackson Street Pharmacy yesterday morning.

Before she knew it, Johnson's car was half-way into the store.

"What happened in this accident was the driver was attempting to hit the brakes and actually accelerated on the accelerating pedal. Causing the vehicle to go inside the business. No one was hurt inside the business," said Lt. Eric Hampton.

Johnson was checked by Thomas County EMS, but she refused medical treatment at the scene.

She is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
