The city of Albany has doubled the reward money in last month's drive-by double murder to $5000.

Thursday city leaders announced they are matching the $2500 already offered by CRIMESTOPPERS and area businesses.

Investigators are still working to find the killers of 20-year olds William Davis, Junior and Desmond Williams who prosecutors say were Blood gang members.

They were shot March 17th on Willard Avenue.

Police say they have leads but need more information to make arrests.

Albany Police Media Manager Phyllis Banks said "So we are hoping this money put forth for tip information will bring somebody forward with the information that they need that is going to really break this case for them."

If you have any information about the murder call the anonymous CRIMESTOPPERS hotline at 436-TIPS.
