ACREE, GA (WALB) -

Six people were transported to the hospital, but there were no life-threatening injuries in a three-vehicle pile up that could have been much worse Wednesday morning at Acree.

A Ford Taurus, a Chevy Tahoe, and a Chevy Silverado pick-up truck smashed into each other about 11:00AM.

Units from the Albany Fire Department went to the scene with Albany-Dougherty County paramedics, and the Dougherty Co. Police Department.

An initial DCP report says the driver of the Tahoe was at fault for failure to yield as he was crossing Highway 82 from County Line Road.

The pickup truck rolled over in the collision.
