ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at Westside Grocery late Monday night.

Officials say around 11:30 P.M. a man, armed with a gun, walked into the convenient store off West Gordon Avenue while another man held open the front door. The first man jumped over the counter and took money from the register. The two men then took off running.

No injuries were reported. Police aren't releasing a description of the two men at this time.

    Dougherty County Commissioners have dismissed their lawsuit against the Georgia Department of Community Health.  A notice of voluntary dismissal without prejudge was filed Monday by the Dougherty County Commissioners in Fulton County court, canceling the lawsuit.
