ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Flint Riverquarium is showing a new movie that was partially shot at the Albany attraction last summer.

"Microplanet" gives audiences a different perspective of the world through the eyes of tiny animals. The movie opened today at the Imagination Theater and was shot on a micro level to capture little creatures. It's based on life found in Georgia's lakes and forests.

"It gives you a view you just don't get to see that everyday up close and personal. The insects and the different animals, and how they're interacting with the world around them. And you learn something," said Vicki Churchman, Member & Volunteer Services Manager.

The movie was produced by an Emmy-nominated film maker. It was shown throughout the day April 1st, and will be put in rotation with three other nature films now showing at the theater.
