Posted: Updated:
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Some drivers got a break at the pump this Easter weekend.

In Albany, gas prices at a service station on Slappey Boulevard is $3.39. That's a little lower than the national average, which AAA says is $3.63 a gallon.

Some drivers said the break came just at the right time for traveling.

"It's been fluctuating off and on over the year. Fortunately it happens pretty much when I'm about to take a trip. It goes down," said Ken Williams.

Just one year ago, drivers saw gas prices at $3.92. Although prices are expected to increase in April.
