THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Dozens of businesses and organizations searched for employees at a career fair Tuesday in Thomasville.

The annual Thomas University Career Fair was held in the new Student Life Center at the university's West Campus.

Current students as well as alumni and other jobseekers met with employers.

"Not only those that are looking for employment, but all those that are looking for internships or just have the opportunity to network and have a chance to talk about themselves and the skills they have developed so far and those they hope to develop," said Career Fair Organizer Jennifer Lindquist.

The event was sponsored by Thomas University's Student Support Services and Career Center.
