Joe Townsend's book "Soul Survivor" comes to life tonight on the 700 Club on cable TV on the Christian Broadcasting Network.

Townsend tells the tragic but triumphant tale of a Ben Hill County plane crash in 1996. That crash that took the lives of his wife and two daughters, but he survived.

The segment, filmed primarily on location in South Georgia, includes footage at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, as well as at the scene of the crash near Fitzgerald.
