ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Dawson Police have one person in custody after a drug bust Thursday morning.

They arrested 31-year old Quantev T. Sapp after the drug unit executed a search warrant at 253 Anderson Street.

They seized about $750 worth of drug paraphernalia.

"Officers were able to enter the residence and recover 24 individual bags of marijuana, and 17ecstasy pills,"said Assistant Chief Tommy Poupard.

Sapp is charged with the possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a controlled substance for ecstasy.

His case will go to the grand jury in June.
